What the business says

We acknowledge the outcome of the recent inspection and appeal decision and would like to reassure our customers that we have taken prompt and thorough action to address all matters raised in the report.

The following improvements have been made since the inspection:

Food storage has been reorganised to prevent any risk of cross-contamination. Raw food is now stored separately and beneath cooked and ready-to-eat items. Additional fridge capacity has been added for safe separation.

A calibrated probe thermometer is now used daily to check food temperatures, with records kept consistently.

We have implemented strict cleaning and disinfection procedures, with schedules and checklists in place to maintain hygiene standards across the premises.

Structural work has been carried out, including replacing freezer door seals, deep cleaning, and full servicing of our equipment.

The basement area has been cleaned, and repairs to walls, floors, and ceilings are underway.

Broken tiles in the rear yard have been identified and are being replaced.

I have personally trained all kitchen staff in food hygiene and safety, ensuring they follow correct procedures at all times.

We have formally requested a re-visit from the Food Safety Team so that these improvements can be reflected in an updated hygiene rating.

We are fully committed to maintaining high food hygiene standards and appreciate the continued support of our customers.
