What the business says

We had a visit from Environmental Health on 14/2/2024. At the time I

was away from the business for personal reasons and we have been

having some issues with staff, unfortunately in my absence the shop

was not up to my usual standards on the day of the  visit.

I immediately contacted the inspector apologised and said I would make

it my priority to set everything right and above any expected standard

as my business and customers confidence is very important to me.

Straight away after the visit I began addressing the matters raised

during the inspection, I’ve also put all staff through level 2 hygiene

training and retrained staff in our  monitoring controls, risk

assessments and updated the documentation as required.

I was awaiting the full report so that I can be sure I have dealt with

all issues found which was delayed through no fault of my own.  I have

paid for an advice visit to show all has been set right and we have

gone above and beyond following the disappointing result and we have

already applied for our rerating and we are confident that we will

achieve a good rating when that is completed.
