What the business says

I agree with the inspection results but have since carried out the following improvements:

  • The establishment has been thoroughly cleaned, and procedures are in place to ensure that cleanliness is maintained
  • Topped up and standardised blue roll availability at all hand-wash stations.
  • Removed rust and repaired the lower stainless-steel shelf to meet structural standards
  • Ensured hot water supply is now fully consistent throughout the premises
  • Cleaned and sanitised the ice machines and introduced a stricter cleaning schedule for them
  • Reorganised and updated all food safety paperwork, including implementing a complete and up-to-date SFBB system kept on site at all times
  • Introduced a clearer filing system so all records (temperature logs, cleaning schedules, allergen information, pest control) are stored together and easily accessible
  • The staff have been trained/re-trained/given instruction/are under revised supervisory arrangements.

The conditions at the time of the inspection were NOT typical of the normal conditions maintained at the establishment in that:

  • At the time of the inspection on 18.05.26, the premises was clean and broadly compliant, which is reflected in the Annex 5 scores of 10/10/10 for hygiene, structure, and management. The rating was affected by several minor issues mainly relating to paperwork and maintenance. These have all been fully resolved.

We appreciate the inspector’s feedback and have taken all recommended actions promptly. Our team is committed to maintaining the high hygiene standards reflected in the inspection scores, and we look forward to our updated rating.
